Go to gcdev.org and get SDLOAD.

Anyway, I see what you guys are saying about the clock getting messed up in animal crossing... now every time I start the game it's different and I have to correct it (sometimes it's REALLY far out). Anyway, I think you should add that to list of things to do.

I have a question.... since I often use gcos' online capabilities (dol uploading, ripping and so on), but for some reason my router only accepts hardware that have as ip 192.168.2.xxx, everytime I want to upload a dol or rip a game I have to change the ip address from within gcos... now I was wondering, is there a way, with a hexadecimal editor or something, to change the default ip address in gcos?

i figured i should include this in this forum too.

for everyone using gcos 1.5 with ar to cheat on backups, and since gcos only works with ar1.08. put this gci file on your memcard in slot b, it has almost every code up to date. it is missing a select few. you'll have to deal with it or make your own.

Here is all the info to make your own:

It's been a long time since I checked into this stuff...

This release looks nice and it's obvious that emu_kidd has put a lot of hard work into it.

I loaded it using SDLoad and I was unable to boot anything from the 'Boot Disc' menu. No original or backup would boot on my NTSC 04 drive cube. Originals would either spin during the "Setting up Drive 04" process, or I would get "media not recognized". The furthest I got with a backup was a DRE screen - mostly just "media not recognized" or black screens. I even tried the 1.4 boot option and it didn't boot my backup.

Backups work perfectly for me with GCOS 1.4. I'm using Office Depot media and I don't get DREs.

I cleaned my laser lens a bit and got a backup to boot. Looks like my laser may be getting weaker (BTW I almost never play backups on it, just my kids playing originals).

so many stuff I can't find and so many posts to go through. I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but will gcos be making bios for the qoob pro? I can't even find 1 post that hosts a bios for qoob pro.

    Requirements:
    Action Replay 1.08 disc (Original!)
    1 x 251 Original Nintendo Memory card

    Steps:
    01. Transfer "GCoS With AR.gci" to MC251 using BBA etc.
    02. Insert MC251 to slot B.
    03. Insert AR 1.08 disc
    04. Power on GC.
    05. Select "Action Replay"
    06. As requested, open the lid, wait 2 secs, then close the lid.
    07. Select "GCoS With Ar.dol"
    08. After GCoS 1.5 main menu displayed, CHANGE AR DISC WITH YOUR BACKUP GAME DISC (IMPORTANT!)
    09. Select "Misc"
    10. Select "Action Replay"
    11. On AR Main Menu select "Options", turn "Auto Update" to "Off".
    12. Back to AR Main Menu, Select "Action Replay Codes" then your BACKUP GAME TITLE
    13. Select cheats you want.
    14. Press "Start" button
    15. The screen will goes black momentarily then boot your BACKUP GAME!

    That's it, folks.

BTW, my GC is DOL-001, US/NTSC, Drive 06.

Pardon my stupidity here but a couple of questions...

    1) does it have to be version 1.08? I've got a 1.06 disc myself...
    2) what codes am I to be using on the "action replay" "game" to get it to load? i tried copying the DATELCOD.BIN off my normal GCOS card and that just made it hang at black.
    3) are there any other alternate methods to get AR code functionality in GCOS? the version 1.5 i have on my card 59 has the AR option but it doesn't do anything.

ok, well you can use AR106 but you'll have to pad the .dol file up to the right size that it expects.
