I'm sorry but Qoob has not given out any documentation on how to flash the Qoob SX with anything other than their upgrade.elf. I'm not here to provide support on how to get gcos onto modchips, this is the users part as I see it, I do the best to help out. However it's hard as I don't even own the hardware.

Try asking on the qoob forum.

Whoa! Steady on. I surprised emu_kidid dignified that with such a polite reply, I'd be pretty mad if I was on the other end of that little rant.

GCOS, as I see it, is a BIOS replacement for the GC that enables you to play backups of games. Surely a chipped cube already offers this so you aren't exactly missing out on a great deal. If GCOS has features that Qoob is missing, maybe you should research what you buy a bit better before you buy it, or as emu_kidid said, moan at the Qoob guys.

I think you little outburst is completely unjustified and you need to grow up!

    pwnt.

Go easy on him a little bit; you can tell from his username and typing style that he's probably not any older than 13.

I just got my Max Drive Pro, and want to load GCOS 1.5 onto it.

Do I need a special patched ver of GCOS 1.5 for the Max Drive Pro? Or will the main link at the beginning of this thread suffice?

Use GCoS 1.5 (PSO).dol which can be found in GCoS 1.5.rar (the link in the 1st post)

If you use d0lLZ3 to compress it, it will only take up 113KB rather than 313KB on the Max Drive card

The real time clock is still not fixed and it won't boot any media on my rev.4 driver, real dvd or not...

Oh well, at least it looks nice

I have no problem (that I can see) playing the PAL version of Animal Crossing djgarf (gbatemp rocks ), exactly what is the problem? Perhaps you're using the bad PAL release (there were two).

I'm using an original USA Animal Crossing disc with the viper gcos flash.

Oh, I forgot to mention I'm running the PSO version off an SD card (using SDLoad).

Possibly cause PSO sets the right date on every boot.

    Qoob SX

Has anyone cracked the Qoob SX nut ?

I would be fantastic if emu_kiddid could enlighten us on how to use the GCOS Qoob SX version that he has uploaded.
