    Games not loading

    1st time making backups
I could not make a proper backup of an xbox game for some reason so i downloaded the iso but it does not load on my xbox. I have checked the xbox and it has firmware 1.6 which played a backup game

I downloaded region free iso for tigerwoods 10, I used verbatim +r dl discs

I open IMGBURN and choose write iso to disc at speed x2. I then selected tools options and the write tab I put in a user specified layerbreak as 1913760
The reason I done this is when i burned one before abgx360 said the game would not boot due to a problem with the layerbreak.

This time after burning i used abgx360 and it passed everything but the game wouldnt boot.

I am not sure what i am doing wrong or if it is maybe the game iso, although it does get verified with abgx360.
Should i just try another game and Should i try downloading pal versions instead. (I live in UK)

Any suggestions or advice much appreciated

Also another question, I would like to make backup of games i have. Do i need a certain disk drive to read all the correct data from original xbox discs as stated at the start of the post i cannot seem to get a proper image file from the original disks

What media are you using? Do orignals work? Have you changed the book type to DVD-ROM?

Your images are fine. Your problem seems to be with the burning. Set book type to dvd-rom for dvd+r dl media on imgburn. Also, don't set layer break manually, open .dvd file instead of .iso. It's also a good idea to check the iso on abgx360 even if it's just to create the .dvd file.

EDIT: NTSC games don't work on pal consoles.

There has been no need to change booktype for some time now, ixtreme firmware doesnt need the media to be bitset to dvd-rom.

thread should be locked for talk about dl'n iso's.

but despite that, probably ur burner and or the iso isn't region free or something.

i'd stick to pal games, (create/use a dvd file to burn with) an make sure ur burner is burning the game properly.

What DVD drive is in your xbox?

If your burned disk checks out okay in abgx then it most likely that your laser isn't good enough to read back up disks.
    Xbox 360 : gui1e. Jtag Halo console 500gb
    PS3 (60gb): gui1e2008. Died YLOD.

I have a similar problem where I insert my burned iso game and at the dash, it says "PLAY GAME".. however when i click on it, it loads for about 3 seconds and says it's an Unrecognized disc.. It's a wave 3 game, and I have the OLD xtreme firmware (not iextreme).. If anyone had any thought's on this, i'd really appreciate any help i can get.

    thanks!

Also, when i went through agbx, it says "Autofix failed, Stealth is still uncertain"... "press any key to continue.."

The .dvd file was created though.. so should i burn it, or do you think it would be better to go another route?
