    PSP Go [Original Royginald's Review]

With some Disassembly guide/pics already posted .
I would like to add my personal PSPGo (thorough) Reviews and Pictures.

    PSPGo

    Comes with a 5.70 OFW.

    What's inside the Box?

    The usual content
An auto volt charger with AC cord
An all new USB Data Cable.
    A Quick Guide instruction manual.
    A preloaded Patapon 2 Demo.
    A Media Go installer CD.

It also includes a FREE Rockband Game that is exclusive on PSPGo.
Just create a PSN Account and put the codes on the Redeem Code tab.

A size comparisson of PSPGo and iPhone 2g Phone

    For more "IN DEPTH" Look!

It only takes 6 screws to remove the back cover,
It'll reveal the Lithium ion battery with a maximum voltage of 3.7 - 4.5V and a 1.40A Maximum Current.

To fully remove the board you must carefully remove the L & R shoulder buttons,
Home/volume flex,Analog,Select-start flex and of course the LCD connector.

Comparing the Mobo from the previous PSPs

    Picture includes
    TA-079 = PSP1000
    TA-081 = PSP1000
    TA-082 = PSP1000
    TA-086 = PSP1000

    TA-085 (Version 1) = PSP2000
    TA-085 (Version 2) = PSP2000
    TA-088 (Version 1) = PSP2000
    TA-088 (Version 2) = PSP2000

    TA-090 (Version 1) = PSP3000
    TA-090 (Version 2) = PSP3000

    And the New
    TA-091 (Version A) = PSPGo

    The Good.
    1. The size is so compact it is almost big as an iPhone. (closed)
    2. The LCD is more like the PSP3000 ... it has an anti-glare display.
    3. The buttons are so responsive.
    4. New interface and Clock Display
    5. Bluetooth connectivity is a nice add on.
    6. 16gb Internal memory

    The Bad.
    1. Sliding functions... feels like it is prone to more wear and tear.
    2. Smaller sized LCD.
    3. Analog was placed awkwardly.
    4. No Backup games (iso/cso) here!
    5. Looks more like a Cheap China made MP4.
    6. Only 97 games

and 7 Mini games are available.

It's only slightly bigger than the iPhone, it's smaller than I thought.

i have the go, i personally really dislike it. i would never be able to play street fighter on it. it feels like it might break VERY easily (when its open).

the screen is the heavier part so when its open, ur left with a thin/weak part for controls. one fall, and the device is finished, whereas the original psp and slim/brights can withstand a few drops. (not saying im careless, just saying in general)

i like having the latest gadgets, but this one im really not happy about owning.

someone told me i can pair it with my ps3 controller and play games with a proper controller. if thats true, i like that, except for the fact that i have to carry around the psp, AND a controller.
