DS Simply & 8GB Sandisk

Hello all.

I cannot get my Simply to work with the 8GB Sandisk micro sd card I have. I've been looking around the internet for the best part of two hours; updated the firmware to version: System_v1.14-English copied and pasted those files on to the Sandisk with a rom I know works, and my Simply won't get past the initial loading screen.

The top screen says loading... and the bottom screen remains black.

Does the Simply work with Sandisk 8gb SDHC, and if it does, am I doing something wrong, or do I need some additional software to make it work?

ds simply will not read the high capacity sd cards so anything over 2gb will not work

I went by that as recommendation to get the 8gig card.

M3 Simply cannot read SDHC cards.

That card should not be listed on the website.

They got me.. learnt my lesson the hard way, I suppose.

Should've checked on here first, but took a leap of faith.
