    GTA:VCS AND LCS FPS problems.

    The FPS on these games is absolutly appauling!!
    Any reason why?

    This is a .cso btw.

    thats the reason, CSO.
    With those games is a known fact that they should be kept as plain iso: both games stream game content from the umd in real time.

    yes run em uncompressed and preferably @ 333 mhz.
    especially those games gain a lot from upping the cpu speed.
    will be smooth as hell.. or should i just say butter.
    1.50 -> 1.50 POC -> SE -> OE -> M33

    So if i just uncompress it will be fine ?
    or do i need the iso again?

    You can decompress it.

    Yea just rip your UMD's again and don't compress to cso.

    Yeah re-ripped.
    Is there a guide or list showing how games work as a .cso.

    Because if i compress MGS: PO then i can fit it on too and then i dont need any UMDs with me.

    I've been compressing at level 9.

    If i compress at 2 or 3.
    Will there be a substancial improvement

    There is no reason you can't try it out for yourself and share your findings. It's not like there is any risk involved. Stop being a lazy arse!

    I run linux and i have to use my friends windows PC.
    If its not worth it i wont make the effort

    Well last I checked Google worked in linux too.. there are more than a few linux apps for compressing iso to cso that would come up in a basic search. PSPShrink comes to mind.

    Well, cso or iso doesn't really matter, what you can do is set the cpu at 333/166. Although, there are still some slow down from time to time but thats the PSP's limited.
