M3i Zero Help

My M3i Zero won't activate I've followed the tutorial on here, but the
LED light won't blink or anything. Please Help!?

Thanks, kkan but, your tutorial is the one I'm having problems with. Step 5 to be more accurate.

Alright I got the system folder installed, but it won't activate. I downloaded the F_Core.Dat file, I plugged it in the install cable just like it was shown in the tutorial, then I plugged it into my computer's USB port, but it won't blink at all & it won't work on my DSi. Please Help?! Thanks in Advance.


Sorry I forgot to add that on my DSi it's showing that there's no game cart inserted even even when there is.

Try with just the F_core.dat file on the root of your mem card (this is the first thing you see when you open the mem card in (my computer/memcard) )with no loaders installed ie with a totally BLANK mem card if it does not start flashing or blinking then try using a different USB port or one on a different computer and avoid trying to plug it into a USB HUB they can be problematic!

If it still does not work then maby try gently cleaning the contacts on the update cable at the part that fits into the M3i card and you could also try blowing into the tiny hole where the update cable plugs into the M3i just incase there is an dirt in there stopping it making a good contact

I ran in to a similar problem when I was trying to install the core files.


When I plugged in my M3i Zero the red light would just light up and not blink.



I checked the file system on my SD-card and found that it was FAT so I reformatted it to FAT32 and it worked like a charm.
