    PS3 beats Xbox 360 in recent monthly sales, Wii still on top

    The latest US sales figures for December 2009 (provided by NPD) go as follows: Wii 3.81 million, Playstation 3 1.36M, 360 1.31 M, Playstation 2 333.2 M, DS 3.31M and PSP 654.7K. Despite the PS3's great performance, Sony must be pretty worried about the slow sales of the PSP.

    yes i download games get over it.

    Despite my console list consisting mostly of xbox360, i'm actually not a fanboy of any console. i'm just supported of any console that can run pirated games. sony needs to get with the program.

    the wii keeps going and going Nintendo just kills it every month. i own them all but a ps2 slim my ps3 can play them just fine and in 1080p cant do that with a ps2 go everyone keep on selling

    nothings really changed, idiots still buying the wii.

    360 an ps3 are fairly close in monthly sales now it seems.

    i still see it ending with wii then 360 an ps3 bringing up the rear.

    personally i could care less, but still amazes me how well the wii/ds sells, i guess there just isn't enough hardcore gamers, just a bunch of casuals and kids/

    Wii still outselling them both combined. But it looks like Sony and MS have a tight race for once for a distant 2nd.

    New Super Mario Wii almost sold as much as MW2 in December. 30,000 units off. I am even surprised by that, but I guess all those new Wii owners needed a new game to go with their systems.

    I guess not everyone cares about whether or not you're able to run Crysis (or not), I'm fricking sick to death of all these Murder Simulators out there

    That said I really am sick of all the Run'n'Gun(ers), Shoot'em-up's that you constanly find on the PC/XBOX360.

    So feel free do as ya please, but I'm quite happy to play Mario and the Wii doesn't have any Red or Yellow lights on it.
