Zune and Xbox teams merge, Xbox portable inevitable?

Recently, MS announced that the Zune and Xbox teams are set to merge. Unsurprisingly, this has sparked and refreshed rumors that an Xbox Portable is in development? Do you think this is true and would you like to see such a device on the market place?

I would like to see something using that Tegra processor, and if they really wanted to make it kick ass Ape the form factor of the DS.

Maybe not the 2 screens but the clam shell design is so nice for keeping your screen from being scratched.

Anyway I would also like to see a native SD slot for media playing and demo's.

Game storage should be on carts, lets hope they don't do the PSP Go thing...

Game saves would be cool on a SD card too, would save some money on the carts themselves and would be nice for games where part 2 could use your save from part 1.

Portable console is saturated from ds yet. Psp have half of console sellers.

Another portable console, mean sure faliure.

^i dunno bout that, i for one think xbox portable would be pretty successful.

if it had really good games, visuals ect.

they could easily compete with psp 2/next ds crap in the coming years, which they definitely should imo.

we'll see, i'm definitely hoping for one, i'm sure many others are too.
