PSP Go USB Charge When Dead

Ok so when my PSP Go is dead and turns off I cannot charge it from the USB ports on a computer but I can from a AC to USB Adapter. This doesn't make any sense and it annoying. If the battery dies then I can't charge it on the Go (no pun intended).

Why would Sony make it like this? How does the PSP Go tell the difference between a computer USB Port and an AC Adapter one and how can I "trick" it into using a computer USB Port?

This along with it not saying the battery level as a percent are really annoying. Sony really f***ed up on the Go...

Wow. This is the first time that I heard a think of kind...

Many user here have Pspgo and any of them, have reported a thing of kind.

It is very strange...Usb are standard in all countries, Form, Voltage, Ampers.ect ect.

Maybe you have some problem with your ports...try to test on another pc.

It's not a problem with his USB ports. The PSP 2000 & 3000 does the same thing when their batteries are dead also, even if USB Charge is enabled in System Settings.

The PSP has to be in USB Mode to charge from a USB port on a computer, but if I pug it into the AC Adapter (which has a USB port) it charges even when the PSP is off. This doesn't make any sense. I am using the same cable and same port on the PSP (the USB port and power port are the same), just a different USB port, one on PC and the other on the AC...

Sony just sucks. I mean, I like the psp, but they don't have anything needed anymore. USB charge is a needed feature, and they need to fix that.

Ya and there isn't even a way to find out the % remaining of the battery.

The Go needs to be hacked desperately to be saved.
