    Ps2 without disk drive?

Ahoy there! I'm planning to try my hand at a rather extensive ps2 mod witch requires getting rid of all unneeded or extra parts for the project. My question is, will a modded (hd advance, loader, or usb) ps2 operate with the disk drive completely removed? If not is there any way to fake a feedback signal to trick the system?

Probably if you install fmcb 1.8 to a memory card, and then use OPNPS2LDR to load games off USB or SMB(using pc over Network)
There will be a newer version which is in testing yet too work off an IDE hdd also
v0.6 just supports USB and SMB at the moment.

    Code:

You may have to try it and see.
