    Wow...A Lot Has Changed...Halp??

    Hey guys,

Haven't fiddled with my psp phat for well over a year at least....it's currently at 3.71 m33 cfw, however i'm just about to upgrade it to 5.00 m33.....i've gotten lost in information here so need some help, where do I go after 5.00 m33??

Also, are there easier ways to put psx eboots on the psp now, without having to change ID etc all the time, ie is there a programme that does it for you? I have looked around, but am confused as to what I need for what cfw I will be upgrading to...

    tl/dr - which cfw on a psp phat after 5.00 m33
    &
is there a simple gui for making psx eboots playable nowadays...

    Cheers guys

5.00M33 is the last of Dark Alex's work. The last thing you want is the update. Youll need 5.00M33-6, run it and will update your CFW with ease.

As for the PSX eboots, your on your own. Hopefully someone will jump in here and post a solution to your answer.

Ok that's great to hear, not too far behind then! Why would I not want to update to Gen or something though? Cheers for the reply mate

5.00 m33-6 is a great cfw, but its a little outdated. if you want something a little more recent i would suggest 5.50 gen-d2. the latest release 5.50 gen-d3, is a little unstable but you can update it you want. once you have 5.00 m33-6 installed, just download and run the 5.50 gen-d/d2/d3 updates as you desire.

as for the psx eboot programs, google "psx2psp" or "impaler psx". i would post links but i cant since i only have 8 posts

You can update directly to lastest GEN version from 5.00 M33 (5.50GEN-D3).

With 5.50GEn-D3 you can run most recents games without patching them. Many, many game don't run directly anymore on 5.00M33, you must patch them to run on 5.00M33.

Only difference that 5.50GEN-D3 don't run old 1.50 homebrew.

So another couple of years and here I am again!

Not looked at my PSP for a good 2 years almost, just found it today, awaiting a charger to be delivered for it as i lost it during a move it seems.

Anyhoo, I updated to the above........where to now? So much happens in the psp scene that I got lost again trying to read up etc.

I want to be able to play the new game growlanser which was released recently, yet not lose all my old ps1 games, which cfw is for me on my psp phat now?

    Cheers guys!
