Hi I have an old ps2 that I never got around to fixing for what >_> 7 years. So finally got around to getting that part i needed and i was testing it out besides fixing the disk read error thing. I ended up getting that all tweaked but a new problem arose. The guide arm *plastic fat ps2* is like slipping on the spiny rod thing and makes a buzzing noise, that just ends up causing the disk to spin after a few seconds.
So my question is can I use a heating element to bend the arm and use some sort of grease *vaseline??* to fix the problem or would I need to replace the arm? Because the little things below it are connecting just fine with the spiny rod.
