Upgrade the DSTTi 1.4 Firmware to support DSi firmware 1.4

What you will need to update your DSTTi Card:
-DSi Console with Firmware lower than 1.4X (1.4E, 1.4J, 1.4U & 1.4A) e.g 1.3 or 1.2 OR
-DS Lite Console
-DSTTi Card Loaded with Standard Firmware V1.17
-DSTTi Update for DSi 1.4 Download from here or the official website www.ndstt.com

To Check Your DSi Firmware Version:
-Click 'Setting' on the Main Menu
-In the right hand corner of the top screen it will say VER 1.X

STEPS:

-Unzip 'DSTTi_v1.4_firmware.rar' you will then have three files:
rom_pcb1.dat
rom_pcb2.dat
TTi14UPGRADE.nds
-Copy the three files to the root of the Micro SD memory card.
-Place the Micro SD back into the DSTTi Card and insert into DSL/DSi Console
-Select the Firmware file TTi14UPGRADE.nds
-Follow the on screen instructions to complete the rest, which should not take long.


Step-by-step guide to install the DSTT and DSTTi with the latest Driver:[/b]

1.Download the latest driver/kernel/firmware

The driver/kernel/firmware can be downloaded from

a) The official website: www.ndstt.com

2. Before copying the driver/kernel to the microSD, please format your microSD on your PC. This is to remove all the data on the memory card.

a) After inserting the microSD into the card reader, go to My Computer.

Right click the driver representing the microSD memory card.

c) Choose Format

Unzip the file downloaded (using Winrar) on your PC

Unzip the driver/kernel/firmware file.

Winrar can be downloaded from www.download.com by searching for Winrar at the Search.

c) Open the unzipped folder. The name of the folder could vary.

d) Select and copy all the files shown below.

5. Copy your own files, including music, movies, pictures and homebrew games to the microSD memory card

Plug in the microSD to the R4.When inserting or changing carts on slot-1, switch off the DS, insert in the cart and then start the DS.
