Hi all

I've decieded it was time to move from a softmod to a chip on my PS2
The reason, my girl is moving to Japan to teach and it be great if should didn't have to worry bout region son movies and games.
After a lot of research it looks the DMS4 is the way I want to go (hard drive and region free), but I had a few questions.
1) Does anyone have the installation manuals for the DMS4 they're website apparently have been shut down for a long time...guess PS2 modding may be going the way of the dodo.
2) Has anyone tried one of the DMS4 sdolderless, they sound good in theroy, but ancient posts I have found here and other fourms, people were bad mouthing them, so how bout in the present, were they as bad as people mad them out to be?
3)I'm actually willing to buy a modded system but so far I've been quoted outrageous princes (500+), so does anyone know anyone who still mods PS2 or is willing to sell one?
