I move the insides of a working DS Lite (with a broken hinge) into a Pink DS Lite (it's an official princess pink DS)shell. I knew about how much trouble the connection for the youch screen so I made sure not to unlatch it during the transfer. Despite this. The bottom touch screen does not work.

In my attempts after to resituate the screen I've been able to get a response from it twice. But now I fear I've shorted something because no matter what I do I get no response from the touch screen whatsoever. This is incredibly frustrating as I tried specifically to avoid having to deal with the touch screen.
