Hello, I have the old PSP's, bought in 2006. I haven't been updated on the scene for a while. I'm still running the original fw of 1.5? is it possible to get the new metal gear game loaded on here without upgrading the firmware? Thanks a lot!

1 - If you are under official 1.50 PSP firmware, copy kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% folders from "1.50only/" of this download to your "ms0:/PSP/GAME/" and use it.
3 - Download official 3.52 eboot, rename it to 352.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/"

(If Psp Say "The game could not be started. Error (80020148)" do so:
Force turn off Psp. Press and hold press "R" button while turn on the psp.
Now you are in "Recovery menu".
Go on "configuration" and press "X" button.
Now go on "Game folder homebrew" and set it on "(currently: 1.50 Kernel)".
Put "M33Update4" folder in "GAME150" and run update.
(Ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33UPDATE4/EBOOT.BPB)
Install 5.00 M33

Requeriments:
- Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-4 or higher.
Instructions
- Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
- Get the 5.00 sony update from somewhere, and put it in same folder, with name "500.PBP".
Alternatively, you can let the installer to download for you via wifi.
- Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.

Thank you sooo much for the detailed walk-through. One last question, is there still a program like there was back like 3-4 years that allowed you to run iso's off of the computer via a usb cable as my memory stick is only 1 gb and the game is about 1.45 gb?
It is always the same...should be work also on lastest custm firmware...but I am not sure, because I never test it...
