    So no then.

Although I am concerned that you must enable auto renewal considering some stories I have heard.

If it was so easy to actually call up there wouldn't be people complaining right?

You can't cancel your Car insurance online, because it's actually important and professional to do it in person. Also prevents identify thefts.

But of course you knew that didn't you, but you just felt the urge to point that out to satisfy your personal faboyish reasons, like every other pro-M$ comments you've made in every thread relating to the subject.

what bollocks, if you give ms your cc details its like trying to get osama to play nicely to get them to stop using them, i'd say that if you really want to pay for xbl gold then its better to buy a card and pay the extra £6-7 than to give ms your cc numbers.

When I put my cc details onto my xbl to top up with some points I just log back in on my account and kill those details after the transaction... Does that not work?

I have had insane amounts of trouble with Microsoft in the past when it comes to credit card numbers.. it isn't Microsoft as such.. its the telephone staff that are obviously not based in the region.

If you're in the UK and cannot reach Microsoft in Ireland over the default phone numbers.. don't do it just have keys for points/subscription delivered online.

That's what I mainly do... The odd times when I want some points quick I just put my cc details online then remove them when done... all done via my laptop...

it's also reported as $35.99 in Canada from what I heard. but there's restriction for previous gold members only.
