I have bought pirated DVD games and my ps2 slim is not reading the disk. It is asking to insert the ps2 format games.
when i buy original dvd games it is working well. I have purchased this PS2 one month ago. I do not want to insert any mod chip in my PS2 as it required soldiering that chip on circuit board of PS2 therefore I must lose warranty of this PS2. There is any software or Swap Disc to play some pirated games for one year. After one year, I will tried to modded my PS2 with help of professional. Can any one guide me about that mod chip which is usually inserted in circuit board of PS2? I have heard many type of such chip on many forums or websites. Does it have any code or symbol for inserting in PS2. Which one will be best for PS2 Slim. Does my PS2 can not read or play original Games or Movies after modding it internally. Please guide me. I have PS1 too and many Pirated PS1 Games too. Did after inserting mod chip in PS2, it will read PS1 Games CDs.
My second question is that “How can I play online games on Sony PS2?” What extra accessories are required to connect PS2 to Internet. I have seen Ethernet port on my PS2. Do I just connect my PS2 to with my ADSL Modem for connecting it to Online world. But I have Broadband connection which required username and password. How did I connect my PS2 to Internet without logging my username or password. Can I connect to PS2 to Internet through Computer too. I can purchase Original PS2 games for playing it with online buddies. I am fan of Microsoft Age of Empire 2. Does AoE 2 can be played on Sony PS2?
