My psp won't turned on... Please help me

My cousin borrowed my psp.. at the games section there was this 5.50 GEND .. so, my cousin thought that it was a game so she clicked it ... and then it starts to update... I didn't read the whole sentence ... I just read the Updating Flashing blah blah blah .... So, I said to her that she have to wait when it reached 100%. It stays at 45% and it didn't move at all... I thought it just hanged so I open the battery compartment then it turned on by itself.. I haven't remove the battery from it... Then, I was trying to turned it on and then the green light was on but the screen was black.. the green light lasted like 25 seconds... I remove the battery and everything but it didn't work.. I tried my memory stick on my cousins psp and it works .. even the battery works ... What should be the problem? is this mean my psp says bye bye to me?? no!!! it had been 2 years and 10 months! PLEASE HELP!

It is a Brick. Don't worry, you need a pandora battery to reinstall custom firmware.

Terrible, I guess the PSP should have protection capacity itself.
Maybe you can have a try to reinstall and something happen.....
    no pains, no gains.
