How do I know what firmware I am on?

    Hi All

Bit of a noob on the xbox front here - I have just bought my kids a flashed xbox, but have no idea what firmware is on it - which I am guessing is quite important.

Is there an easy way to tell what fw it's on?
    All help much appreciated.

    Cheers

shove black ops in it,if that dont boot but, earlier games do then you need to upgrade to lt,chances will be its on 1.61 or something.if black ops boots then your good.only problem now is kinect dash will stop some games working,up to now its only assasins creed brotherhood, here it is anyways.

you are not saying what the drive type is so you leave people guessing realy but, like i say,if black ops boots then you are cool,if it dont you need to have the drive upgraded to higher fw.

Thanks a lot for the reply Saleem - Black Ops works even with the kinect dash installed. I have no idea of the drive type, but as I've only had it a week, I am slowly learning.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

    Cheers
