Qoob don't play backups

Hi,

I just got my qoob sx today and I've tried resoldering thinking that this might be the problem.

And I get 2 different messages: read disc error and "can't load non-original discs".

Since the qoob site does not exist anymore, I heard there are bios that allow backups to play.

Can somebody help me out here ?

Upgraded to 1.3C from EurAsia and it worked =)))

I would like to ask if this modchip have a stealth mode. I would like to boot into game cube normally.

Is it possible ?
