I wouldn't be shocked to see them offer him something. probably trying to see if he can lock up the phone or atleast defeat the current way of jailbreaking. Its not the first time microsoft has played nice with hackers.

Again, marketing strategy... Do do do... Doom! I smell appending doom to all hackers . However, I do believe that something GOOD may come out of this for all of us consumers. i.e. A second hand shop for homebrew/unofficial code, and block any potential threat to piracy. Maybe... Not too much of a longshot it looks like. Those who hack can prevent it, am i right?
