    psp error code 80000004

hey guys a few of my psxpsp games have suddenly decided to stop launching and going back to XMB and giving me the error code 80000004.
These games are resident evil 2 (Claire and Leon in separate eboots) and Resident evil 3.
However other ps1 games and all my homebrew etc are still working (these ps1 games include street sk8ter, silent hill and even resident evil 1
I was playing resident evil 3 a few days ago and before anyone asks, no i didnt transfer any saves from the web to the psp. I used my own saves when i went through the game on my own.
This is really annoying seeing as i want to play resident evil 3 on my psp again

Maybe you have ereased KEY.BIN file, or you have move it in another folder. Extract the iso, and rebuilt resident evil 3 game with psx2psp. IMPORTANT, Use same incon0, pic1, ect ect.

    link isnt valid plus info

i forgot to mention that any psx2psp i use does not give me any keys.bin files or anything like that. just the eboot file and folder that it works with.
im also using custom firmware 5.00 m33-6.
that link you also posted does not work

Yuo right, link don't work..Admin changed site, and that time many links don't work anymore...

For sure is a key.bin missing problem.

Only way, like said before, is rebuild the eboot.pbp file.

But I don't think savegame will be compatible again, because, when you change the Pic0 ect ect.

    theory

Guys i actually might have a theory on why this is happening
see a few weeks ago, windows 7 asked me to scan psp etc and said it found some problems on the memory stick. What if windows somehow edited the eboot files (because they are still in the folder) and because of that the game refuses to boot and launch this error code. Some homebrew doesnt load at all either or it starts but then just freezes

    theory busted

nope i reconverted it and it still comes up with the same error. and no one please mention keys.bin!
because psx2psp does not produce those files

    closed

Sigh this thread can be closed. i found a solution however it is a depressing one
I had to delete my save folder slps01222 (resident evil japanese code) and when i started it again it worked. so i gotta do it all over again and the problem with taht is both my resident evil 2 games and resident evil 3 used the same code so now they both have no saves and both must be done again. Oh well more fun killing zombies with little ammo and avoiding said nemesis
thank you for your suggestions guys
