I think thats gonna get on peoples nurv having to buy the same game multi times.
But like dvds use to have a digital copy. That would be cool.

I would prefer that too, When i buy Blu-Ray movies i tend to buy the multi-packs with the digital copy and dvd as well, there isn't much difference in cost and i am covered for all occasions. Since Sony said saves can be compatible between systems i wouldn't rule it out.

PS2 to my knowledge but they crapped out on that when they changed the specifications after announcement and before launch.

Ports are ok if the price is right. Always wanted to play the same game on a console and take away on a portable after seeing the pc engine on bad influence.

It will never happen unless that thing gets hacked. They will continue to double dip us at any opportunity they get.

Gamers want portable PS3 games. The general public wants portable games on portable devices. The PSP was going to be the portable version of the PS2 and look how good that did. The GBA, DS and iOS devices do well because they have attractive portable games.

Sony's going the wrong direction again. I had huge hopes for the NGP. I'm not giving up yet, but these kind of statements aren't promising.

All very nice, but sounds like a fail in waiting again. Sony should be focusing on dedicated handheld games and not just going for the easy and unpopular method of just going for home console ports.

I just don't think Sony wants to pay attention tot he success of nintendo's practice and subornly insist on sticking to their less than successfull approach.

I really hope all this talk of PS3 ports isn't the route they will be taking.

Yeah it seems this is the future vision for every company with the big N probably being the worst for double&triple dipping titles. So nice how Sony locked out PS2 BC but now all these PS2 collections are showing up that run on any PS3.

lol when did i hate? I gave a neutral perhaps positive opinion on something i would like to see and then gave accurate information. sony did slash the PSP specs in half before they released it but after they announced it, they did crap out due to the price of memory at the time and they did attempt to market it as a device with Playstation 2 abilities.

To my recollection at the time lik-sang was still up and i read the news on there that they had slashed the memory in half when it was intended to have double what it shipped with, i recall Sony hyping it had double the memory of the Playstation 2. Maybe you're having a bad day or something? Can't even shorten my posts due to sensitive people around here this week.
