    sav to duc conversion problem

I'm having trouble converting a saved file. I'm trying to edit a Final Fantasy III save. Here's what I did and where I'm having trouble:

I downloaded my save from my game cart with an AR, giving me a .duc.

The only FFIII save editor I know of is Thundaga (http://www.ds-scene.net/?s=viewtopic&nid=1985), which doesn't accept .duc files. No problem, I can use http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php or any of a number of similar programs to convert it into other file types and edit it that way.

I can edit and save the file with Thundaga just fine, and use shunyweb to convert it back to a .duc file. The problem is that to upload the file back to my game, I have to convert from a .duc to a .dst file (which the AR/Datel software can do already). Whenever I do, though, the file is called "Savegame" from the game "Converted Savegame" and it won't load properly onto my DS cartridge.

Does anybody know of some other utilities I can use to convert my files back from a Thundaga-usable format to an AR-usable one? I've tried using shunyweb and a program called ARDStoSAV.exe, neither of which seem to work. I just need to know if anybody else can follow these steps and get a working .dst out of the deal.
