    so £799 or £840. Thats a terrible deal. What happened to 12 month contracts?

    What happened to the deals we used to get is that the customers got more savvy. It used to be the case that most people went well over their packages and left contracts running for months over the "upgrade" date. These days everyone finds the cheapest deal for the minutes, data and texts they need. Most also push for a great upgrade or a PAC code as soon as they reach the contract end.

    The deal is basically an interest free phone and a £10-£15/ month contract for the minutes. I am not saying there won't be better, but if you are going to give someone a £500 phone that they pay off over 2 years then you aren't going to do so for free.

    Though being a Sony Ericsson phone it is doomed on 13 months
