You do realise that CREDIBLE sites actually get hardware and software from publishers for free to review??? its called review code, but i assume nintendo refused you a copy.

Indeed I am since we have done this before.. I am not aware of any request with Nintendo this you would have to ask Zeus.
As I have made clear I have nothing to do with this news other than expressing frustration at people that would rather attack us than help us along.

Yeah exactly, why dont you contact which, the consumer watchdog and see just how many complaints have actually been made instead of using the "sun" as your source.

The funny thing is, readers have been commenting on "the sun" newspaper on this site ever since this 3DS bashing began, saying what type of crap they usually write and blatently make up yet maxconsole have ignored this completely, not once commented on it and continue to post stories around it. There is no excuse for it maxconsole, its a disgrace and I hope nintendo sets its sights on you next. I vaguely remember you trying to destroy kinect on its release as well. Your site is known throughout the gaming community as complete drivel yet you do nothing to help this.

Also anyone else see the story on the main page telling new subscribers that if they want to join maxconsole they must follow them on twitter???? which means people will most likely now have to set up a twitter account, never mind the inconvenience to your readers or the blatent abuse of power your using, but you blocked anyone for being allowed to comment on the story, (id assume for fear of backlash) but its all just so your site can become accredited on twitter. Nice guys, very nice.

Simply zeus cant see the 3ds effect or hes is just too poor to purchase one and nintendo didn't sent him a free sample to try , so hes on a rampage

Consumer rights is a good thing, but consumers have the responsibility to investigate what they are buying. Or at least check the return policy. I actually got a small headache myself from the 3DS. I don't blame Nintendo for that, I turn off the 3D for a while, or when it is annoying.

Zeus can add another name to the list of those who experienced headaches while playing 3DS. You just verified what these guys are saying about headaches.


I haven't flipped through my manual yet to see if there's anything warning about "playing with 3D mode on may cause headaches" or any such lingo. But, it's obvious there is something going on for some people while playing their 3DS. It really is irrelevant to tell people to turn off 3D. They purchased a piece of electronics that is not cheap. You expect to play it in 3D if it is advertised to be played that way. All the defending in the world from people isn't going to hide the fact playing in 3D is affecting many people to certain degrees with headaches.

I've only played a little bit of Pilotwings on my 3DS and didn't really have an issue. I've only played 30-40 minutes or so each time I played it. As with many, 50% was the sweet spot for that game. Anything higher was washed out and unplayable as far as I was concerned. When I want a long gaming session, I have my consoles. That's what they are there for.

I'd be very interested to see Nintendo's internal testing notes. Did any of their people who "tested" the 3DS experience headaches. Or did Nintendo make a command decision and feel THAT number was a small enough percentage to adequately measure the effects of 3D on their target audience from the world's customers. Pretty bold assumption apparently if that is the case.

News Corp has always had a thing against videogames and Nintendo. Look at the old stories linking pre-web browsing DSs to pedophiles. Or the smear pieces about Mass Effect and BulletStorm. They are an old media company that has been fighting against new.
