% is much higher, traded many PS3>XBOX360 on the past week.
I cant switch, because i already have PS3, 360, Gaming PC, Wii and High-End Android gamign device.![]()
I can't switch either but I can vote with my personal data and wallet.
Sold my 360 last year but I'm seriously considering selling my PS3 and going back to Microsoft...
Basically ANYONE who entered their CC info into PSN is switching, and thats likely 20-30% of people who use PSN, which is about 50% of PS3 owners..
I honestly don't blame them.
I don't know why anyone WOULD stick to that slow and SUPER expensive, time-wasting, POS anyway. People may lose their homes cause of Sony's inability to act on anything. Its not like this happened out of the blue. Sony knew about PSN flaws since 3.56 firmware was released and NEVER bothered to fix anything. Lawyers were more important to hire, cause those fixed their security problems they needed them for right?
I already switched, shelled out $200 and I had a brand new slim, online for a year, with 800MS points - enough to buy battlefield 1943 on sale and still have 200MS points left over. I can't even get a PS3 for under $350 around here.
I play my 360 more each day...![]()

So peeed off by Sony loosing all my personal information...free ef'ing DL gift, they can shove it up their butt...
the least they can do is pay my bill for having to pay for credit reports...
and while they are at it let all those people that actually had the data taken know for sure... and dont just guess a figure that might have... we might as well say all 75 million plus users lost their data...
they sure made me question who gets my legit information... from now on I'm entering all fake details...my PS3 has been religated to just being a Blu Ray movie player...

This is going a bit to far I think, to get rid of your ps3 and games to buy a 360 just because of a security breach is going a bit over the top. I think a better question is are people going to be reluctant to give sony their cc details again.
Personally, I have too much of a backlog and PSN+ stopping me from switching, but ever since OOS was removed, Sony will be my last consideration for buying (if anything it'd be late in the gen when its cheaper and there are a good amount of exclusives and hopefully any **** ups/you would have happened).
I didn't switch, but I did buy a new Xbox last wednesday at 10am. The Game store had already taken 4 PS3's in for exchange and sold 2 other xbox's before mine, so thats 7 in total in an hour.
Wednesday was the day AFTER sony's full hack announcement.
I'm swapping because of the way Sony handled the entire PR disaster, and the fact that Sony are leaving us the customer to do all the legwork swapping cards and bank accounts, and pay out for creditchecks.
i can not swap like battlefield, i have 2 ps3s, 3 xbox 360s, a wii, high end pc, gaming laptop, and android phone
I am seriously thinking for trading in my ps3 but I will miss out uncharted 3 -.- that was the only reason I bought a ps3 just to play uncharted.
I doubt it will be many, much like the ban waves didn't do much with the opposite switch, I suspect only those that feel they really really really need to play online and have every map pack will switch to a certain degree. You can guarantee most PSN users just know it's offline and thats about it, when it's back up and running they will go straight back to using it again as before, credit card and all.
This will probly hurt blu-ray sales as well I'd think.
hell no. i sold my 360 a little over a year ago. I'm never gonna get another m$ console until they come out with some better games.
