    Injecting .dol's into content.bin

I have been trying to compare .dol to .wad to content.bin with hex editors but I'm not making any progress. My goal was to insert wad manager into the content.bin of a wiiware bust-a-move that i copied from an unhacked 4.3u wii, to try to make a softmod (or open the door for someone) for 4.3u without using a game but it didn't work. I got the channel to show up and everything, click it, and it says cannot load on this wii, as in I guess the ticket for the file actually acts as like a checksum im assuming because i made the file the same size and kept the header and footer info. I admit i really have barely any idea what I'm doing but wouldn't this be possible? Not enough research has gone into the content.bin of these channels, im sure we can softmod 4.3 wiis without using a game exploit. I have no friends with a wii so I cannot borrow a game and blockbuster down the street shut down so ive been working my butt off trying to figure out a way because im tired of moving my hacked wii back and forth between the bedroom and living room. As for the twilight hack, couldnt we hack the save game of lets say ocarina of time vc to do the same thing? have the name for the save file too long and cause the overbuff or w/e to load code to load hackmii? im just trying to throw ideas out there to get someone with knowledge of this stuff motivated to hack the wii 4.3 finally.

    1. I am sure that if this was possible, someone would have done it by now.
    2. They're encrypted IIRC using the common key at least for saves (don't know if VC games use other security/encryption/hashes on SD although I would have thought so to prevent piracy).
    3. In regards to OOT my guess is that the emulator would prevent such a hack or make it complicated.
    4. I believe you can rent games online, in the UK I use lovefilm and they do a free trial.
