reset glitch install pics for noobs

this is by no way aguide,we always see the pics on the net and so you know its done by a real person with about 7/10 soldering skills which is what you will need (or around that)

the posistioning and install of the coolrunner:

a little close up so you know what you are dealing with:

    bottom:

closer pic of one point on bottom, this i consider to be a bit more difficult as the resistors are about a mm away and the point is about 1 mm big:

    hooked up to tv:

    xell:

    games on hdd:

    xexmenu:

when you put it back together just put a little bit of tape over them solder points on the bottom.

hi as promised my install pics, theres no need for the blue wire to go down the underside of the boards, just run it near the heatsinks for a nice tidy install.

missed some and had to show off my modded case,

    anyway my tips are
1 pre tin all the solder points
2 cut the orange cable tip as short as possible so no excess bare cable can make contact with the other pads around it.
3 run the blue cable on around the edge of the heatsinks on the topside of the board to the solderpoint in pics.
4 run the yellow and green cables like in my picture.
5 the point where the green cable terminates, the little solder dot between the capacitor (brown) and resistor (black), can be bridged to the black resistor below to create a larger point to solder to. once again with this point having a lot around it needs the have the excess cable from the tip trimmed to the minimum.

in a thread full of modders it might be wise to say who you are asking

So can you explain what happens once its done?

How do I keep it all upto date? say a new dash comes out how would I get a new modded dash on my xbox? never had a JTAG or anything like that...

I don't want to have to be sending it back every 5mins for updates and what not
