Upgrading Liteon Drive to LT2 Questions

Hello there

I've a Liteon 83850C V1 (July 2009) drive which is already flashed. Its not on dash 13599 and naturally on 0251 firmware.

I have the key.bin, enquiry.bin and identity.bin of the original when i hacked it earlier but I dont have the keyDB (csv/reg) file as its a different PC.

I do know the flashing procedure but I am a bit confused by the MRA/Probe thingie as the JF manual says all fats on 0251 will require the MRA bit, but since I have the key.bin, which I am assuming is the DVDkey, I won't need to do it.

Some guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

no all 0251 liteons require probe 3 method not mra

and if you have the key already no need for anything bar power to the drive as you only have to reflash the drive.so if you have it best is just to use a connectivity kit and a sata lead (obviously)

just create a cfw with the 0251 fw from c4eva pack and be sure to put the key for the drive in it and then flash as per the way it says in jungleflasher guide,liteon erase followed by write.

also get your console updated to latest dash 13604.

But what about the "Verified" bit on the bottom of the DVDKey32 page? It'll still show unknown.

did you reinstall windows since you last used jungleflasher/if you did you will have erased the key log so it cant compare it.
