Kinect 2 so accurate it can lip read
Future Xbox consoles to come with Kinect 2 built in.
The rumors keep coming in regarding the new Kinect and Xbox 720, and this one claims that sources told Eurogamer that the new design can 'lip read' - What is next reading what is on your mind?
Rumour going around that Kinect 2 will be able to lip read as well as guess people's emotional state by using voice analysis!
It would seem that Microsoft have decided to put back the processor in their next console version of Kinect, those of you who remember when m$ originally designed Kinect it had an extra CPU, then later decided to removed all its processing power and shifted it onto the 360's CPU instead to keep costs lower (and profits far higher since the original device not only had the processor on board but could be bought from the directly from original designers for under $100 including the dev kit), well now it seems that the processor is back in and Kinect 2 (or 3) is finally going to be able to deliver much of what was first promised in the original Kinect design and pre-launch marketing although some are also claiming that the processor won't be put back in but that a direct link (i.e. non-usb, direct internal bus interface) will allow for a much wider bandwidth of information to be passed between Kinect and the new Xbox (aka 720) design than what the 360 currently allows over normal USB v2.0
