Now you can continue to use your old faithful R4 to play some of latest Nintendo DS games from 'Micro-SD'



The original R4 was 'King of the Hill' for many years, but original developers are long gone, but 'Wood Firmwares' are the answer to keep your 'flashcart' updated and add some more 'life' to its usage

The Wood Firmware is a special firmware made by 'yellow wood gobling'. For the original R4 R4IDSN and R4iGOLD.

Has just been updated to v1.42. Please see the change log below for more information:

I like to use this on my M3 Simply, I think some one else handles that conversion of his work.

It has a web update feature and everything, supports cheats and as far as flash carts go its probably the best of any I have tried on any system.

My R4 still works on my DS Lite with all the newest games and everything. Many thanks to the Wood R4 team!
The only issue I've encountered with the latest versions is that standby doesn't seem to work.
The screen just flashes on and off whenever I try to close my DS.
