Exclamation PS Vita’s Hidden System Menu Found

    Video shows a simple 'R trigger + L trigger + D-pad left + Square' combination

According to 'wololo', a hidden system menu for PS Vita has been discovered by guys over at 'emuonpsp'.

Pressing a combination of keys in "System Information" will, "display some hidden information about the firmware installed on your PlayStation Vita".

    How to display hidden information:
    • Go to Settings > System > System Information
    • Press simultaneously RTrigger + LTrigger + DPad Left + Square for a few seconds
    • Release those buttons then immediately press the start button
    • tadaa, additional information shows up
    Wololo says:

This menu contains information about the system build, repository, revision,... doesn't look like it's super useful information for now, but still interesting I guess.
Others have reported this exact combination works on the PS3 as well, also accessing a 'hidden' menu!

I can confirm that this does work on the PS3, the difference here, is that you have to keep the Start Button continuously pressed while you are reading that info such as it is. It also helps if you use a darker more solid colour, like that of the Original Background(s).

The interesting thing was the intimation of a PS2 Emulator. Thing is I have a first-gen PS3 Slim, that never had PS2 Emulation on it, be it via Hardware or Software. On the other hand the PS1, and PSP Emulators (e.g. PSP Mini(s)), were expected.

But, boy would I love a full blown PSP Emulator on the PS3!
