Hello I'm wondering if I should get a psp.
The homebrew and multimedia scene of the console attracts me alot
I NEARLY bought one but then someone told me to wait for Vita. But I DON'T have 400 bucks to throw out the window! So I'd have to wait until a. vita gets here and b.the price drops to something reasonable!
I had a look on amazon and they have all models but eb games/bigw only has the e1000 for 130 bucks
So is it worth getting one if so which model, 1000,2000,3000 or 1000E?

Now all psp are hackble, maybe not the street model (but I am not sure of this).

There are custom firmware installable on psp 1000 and 2000 and HEN (homebrew enabler) on 3000 and psp Go.

130 bucks for a psp 1000 is very very expansive.

Ps Vita for now isn't hackable and then you can't run homebrew.

Street psp is the e1000 apparently.

But I want to know if it would actually be WORTH getting one nowdays....I mean in the sense of how long I can still get games for it!
I suppose I could load homebrew and then run homebrew games if sony ditch all the games!

All games have to downloaded off psn now the umd games you bought are gone I think that's fine but will sony keep putting up psp games on psn????
