PS Vita official charging accessories dated and priced in Japan
A car lighter charger and a portable charger were revealed
Sony is announcing that both accessories will be released in spring with 20$ and 60$ tag prices.
Sony Japan has announced today that PS Vita will get some new charging accessories in Japan. (And presumably in the rest of the world).
The first one is the car lighter charger, PCH-ZCA1 J, that will hit the shelves on march 22nd with a retail price of t ¥1,500 ($20). The second, is the interesting one. It is a portable charger, PCH-ZPC1 J (only 135g) with 5,000mAh capacity battery that will allow you to recharge your Vita on-the-go when no socket is available (Use your imagination: During a long journey, in the beach or in the mountain). It took 7 hours to full charge itself but will provide 12h of extra power juice to your handheld. It'll be out on April 5th for ¥4,500 ($60).
So, for sure we don't get the chargers in time for the US and EU Vita launching (February 22nd).
