this would really excite me if they provide patches for these games in order to use them with the second analog stick. There's a lot of PSP games that would have been great if they had been two tumb sticks.

Probably a very valid observation. I know some games a patch like this would probably be easy and others could be more problematic.

If they are going to charge you for an older game on a digital download... they should at least make the effort.

Edit: On another note, this goes to my point that if your going to buy a Vita your probably going to need the largest memory stick Sony sells for it... Some of those PSP games where like 1.4GB's ?

only double dipping? you also have to pay for the overpriced memory cards to store the downloads on to, much easier on the 3ds since you just plug in your last gen games and they play and downloaded dsiware games can be transferred and stored on the included, standard, cheap sd card.

Sony is rediscovering the 3DO or NeoGeo marketing strategy of "We make the best so we charge a premium." In this economy thats a recipe for disaster.

Edit: On another site, some one posted that the real cost of owning a Vita was about 400$ once you buy the system a large memory card and a game. I have to say the argument made sense. Those "Starter packs" will run you into even more money since they include the smallest almost useless memory card. My sons PSP had the launch memory card that came with it... Nearly useless these days.
