Exclamation Next-gen Xbox is codenamed Durango

    Multiple sources indicates that.

The name is in line with recent Microsoft tendency of codename products as places.

Hey! Today we are adding another console codename to the long list of "prototype nicknames" like DirectX Box (Xbox), Project Natal (Kinect), Dolphin (Gamecube) , Katana (Dreamcast) NGP (PS Vita) and so on.

Numerous sources are claiming that Microsoft's new Xbox is codenamed "Durango", yeah, you heard it right. From now on, we will refer the console by this name until the crew of Redmond provides us with the final name (Xbox 720 maybe?).

NEWS SOURCE: The next Xbox is codenamed 'Durango' (via) Kotaku

Our thanks to 'Kaos2K' for this news item!

Sorry been corrected. -- There was 50 news items posted today, mind-blogging amount of work, as Vbulletin software is a$$hole dumb, and will not take the front end code and post it correctly, I have to cut & paste each line and re-edit and add formatting, using two monitors and two browsers open, a real pain!
