Kinect update after rgh

You guessed it I am a noooob!Just got my 360 fitted with RGH with Dash 14717 and kinect wants me to update, clearly I can't goto MS so can someone please advise how I resolve this, any help is much appreciated.Thanks

Get the official 14717 update from the nets and run it, it will ONLY update the parts it needs (ie Kinect, Avatars etc) the rest will be intact.
