I have a G6 Lite and I can't get Moonshell 1.4 to work. I got 1.3 to work before, but I don't remember exactly how i did it. I remember that the file extension should be .gba and the only way to get that seems to be by using EXSF, but when I run the file I can only get access to some internal file system that seems to exist inside the .gba file. I don't remember using exfs when i got moonshell 1.3 to work. Anyone knows what settings i should use?
Yeah, there are plenty of programs about, even iTunes will turn unprotected WMAs into MP3s. I've got Advanced WMA Workshop, which can batch convert all the popular audio formats from one to another. However I used it to turn a few WMAs to OGGs, all at 64 kbps, and they came out as slightly larger files.Originally Posted by APPS
The annoying thing about converting everything is that it takes a long time, so if a WMA plugin is likely, then I'll hold off.
Moonshell 1.4 cannot work on G6 Lite. The only reason 1.3c works is because of custom fat tables built into the program or so I'm told.Originally Posted by kallek
EDIT: nvm nvm, fixed it all.

will this wotk for the 4gbhd
I also want to try BatchDPG because the default encoder (dpgenc) produces blocky videos.Originally Posted by gama
But the problem is, this weird tool works in the first instance but if i add a video and want to start the conversion ... it will have a file named mscorree.dll.
Ok i downloaded the file and put them in the BatchDPG folder ... butit won't work either ... it claim that i need the damn .NET framework.
But i wont install any Microsoft product further because of the high spying potential and also i don't install a nearly 100MB tool to get a 5MB-Tool working.
So...is there any workaround or other tool?

moonshell 1.41 stable fu-- fudged up my existing v1.1 moonshell that i've used ever since i bought the thing... I've also noticed something extremely strange: v1.1 has far smoother and more powerful video playback than v4.1... why is this? and was i suppose to delete moonshell v1.1 alltogether before i tried to install v4.1? It's just jacked up.

Just do the same thing you did for the bottom image, but give the file the name c_file.bmp
I loaded Moonshell on my Lite as I wanted to be able to read some Ebooks.
I followed the instructions but it don't work.
Anyone done this and if so what am I missing.
What especially won't work ... moonshell or reading ebooks?Originally Posted by Flypopa
1st: moonshell should work fine
-setup.exe
-select the drive of your memory card
-deselect all cards that you don't have
-..and proceed...
moonshell & ebooks: This means nothing else as reading/opening a text based file, if you expect (as i did it in the past) to open pdf's ... this isn't implemented in moonshell, and i would think never will be because the complex pdf structure and maybe some copyrights.
Firstly I downloaded the whole bundle of Moonshell all 11.7 meg.
I had to remove a few of my games from my 1gig SD card as the moonshell programe would not fit.
I did 'setup.exe' and placed it into my card.
Next I took one of my ebooks that I had to place into 'Word' So I saved it as word.txt file. This I placed into the shell folder on the card as instructed.
When I tried to open it in the DSL, Nothing.
So what have I done wrong?
Was it the word.txt file?
At the present I read my ebooks with my Ipaq 3870. (got 28 books on that at present). That is fine but I would like to beable to use the DSL so I could read books or play games as my mood takes me.
Edit 18 oct. I got it working. but the font size is small. I shall experiment. Also it does not save the place. Any ideas on this anyone?

is there a dpg encoder for mac? i searched and cannot find one![]()
Having a few problems with the dpgtools11 that came with the latest version of moonshell. I know that BatchDPG > dpgtools but I cant seem to convert videos from Youtube to dpg with Batch, however, dpgtools can.
Ive already converted videos from Youtube to DPG successfully using dpgtools. But this other video I downloaded from Youtube gives an error saying that "error func DirectEncodeMP2_MEncoder" Yet my all previous ones were able to convert.. Im confused
Or if theres no other way around this, can anyone tell me another converter to convert youtube videos to another format - maybe ill just have to double convert youtube --> something else --> .dpg
You don't have to put the whole ~12MB moonshell thingy on you card (moonshell is approx. 2.55MB on the memory card).Originally Posted by Flypopa
Extract the archive somewhere on your harddrive and then:
-run the setup.exe
-select your drive letter that matches your plugged in memory card
-deselect all Supercard/M3... that you don't have and only have selected the owned Supercard (attachment)
-then click on the setup button
-and a nds file (for SCLite it is '_BOOT_MP_SCMS_SuperCard_MicroSD.nds') and shell folder will be created on your memory card
-the optional editing of that ini file is not necessary
and if it will help you (if you own a SCLite): take my posted moonshell from another thread >> http://forums.maxconsole.net/attachm...achmentid=8593
word.txt file issue: are you sure you have selected the file format in the winword save dialog, if not you would have a file named word.txt.doc and if your windows is hiding extensions for known filetypes you won't see the doc extension.
So it's not enough to name the file *.txt in winword! You have to select 'TEXT ONLY' as save type!
Try VirtualDub ... maybe this tool can open the youtube files wich should be divx and then reencode them to MJPEG, HUFFYUV or RGB.Originally Posted by mamba9
