Metroid, Strider, Battle of the Elements and 1st Class Poker & BlackJack coming to Nintendo eShop this week.

The stunning NES Metroid will be released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop this week. The classic game is coming back again to our consoles, and the download will be available this Thursday for £4.50/€5. The Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors already downloaded this game for free last year.

There are more games coming, this time to Wii's Virtual Console. Strider, the Mega Drive platformer game will be released for 800 Points (£5.60).

There's also some games coming to DSiWare: 1st Class Poker & BlackJack for £4.50/€5 and Battle of the Elements for the same price.

Strider on the Genesis was almost arcade perfect, another great game for sure.

Why do they have to do this!?

I thought they were only supposed to release NES games in remastered widescreen 3D!!
I feel ripped off here.
