Bioware has announced that this weekend Star Wars: The Old Republic is free to play, and there are a lot of Star Wars fans out there!

Don't know what to do this weekend? you can play Star Wars: The Old Republic for FREE!! yes, the game will be free to play this weekend only, BioWare has announced.

This sci-fi MMO will be free from 6.01am on Thursday morning (UK time) until 8.00am on Monday. Your character will be saved to sign up for a full subscription, if you like the game. We want to remember you that the game.

There are a few restrictions, but at least, you can play it for free:

- You can only progress to lv. 15
- You can only play in Origin World, Capital World, the Fleet, all Warzones and in your first Flashpoint
- General chat, trade chat and PvP chat will not be available
- You won't be able to use the Galactic Trade Network or trade with other players
- You will only be able to level your Crew Skills ranking to around 40
- You will not be able to earn Legacy XP

UGH another mmo. I cannot believe a friend spent almost 50 bucks buying this game and then spends money every month on it. Hideous.
