...but apparently won’t show up in Command & Conquer TA after all
Tank designs in Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances appear to have been copied from Warhammer 40,000...
Apparently, EA has been accused for ripping off tank designs for their social game Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances. As seen in the following concept art, these appears to be copied directly from Warhammer 40k....
Well, EA made an official statement in response to claims, and apparently these won’t show up in the final game, but with this, they basically admited it...
They say that was only concept art, but most likely these would made to the final game if no one noticed it."Games Workshop and EA are aware of the IP issues around the artwork in question, which have now been resolved. The artwork was internal EA concept art that was unintentionally released publicly. No Warhammer 40,000 tanks have ever made an appearance in Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances, and never will. Games Workshop and EA continue to have a strong relationship working together on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and the new free to play game Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes which just entered open beta."
Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances is currently on beta phase. This is a free-to-play online browser game and requires Origin to login.
