Microsoft is decided to implement a new strategy to 'further monetize' Xbox Live subscribers this year

According to a CV spotted in the popular social-business network LinkedIn, Microsoft wants to implement a new policy to monetize even more Xbox Live users.

It is not detailed how are they planning to implement this but ideas around the internet are talking about dropping the MS Points and use standard currencies, mandatory online pass system for all the games or even price increasing on subscriptions.

Anyway, this are all suppositions and we don't know for sure until Microsoft makes an official announcement.

I am paying live service, and I have to pay to play online game with pass onlinee for some games. This mean think only to money and kill second hand world.

People who pay for gold live have themselves to blame. I'm sorry. I had xbox live for 7 years and only played less than a WEEK worth in total.

Now I understand people have their own usage needs out of live, so if you play the games you get online more often than not then get live (and keep getting screwed up the butt) in the process.

This is why game sales are dropping. Even single player games like ff13-2 are chopping the storyline for paid DLC. I don't want to pay full price for a game where I have to pay extra to download the full storyline.

Piracy is the way forward in this case.
