Exclamation More Foxconn problems: 200 Workers threaten suicide again!

Two months after the Xbox workers incident!

Foxconn said the dispute has ended, after Factory employees said they would jump off building in protest about wages!

According to The Guardian, workers at a Factory owned by Foxconn, threatened to jump off the roof of a building in a protest about wages.

The protest happened in the central China city of Wuhan, and it involved 200 workers, just two months after another incident that involved 300 Foxconn Xbox workers, who also threatened Mass Suicide!

A company spokesman said the dispute, which concerned workplace adjustments and involved new workers, had been settled. He said it was not a strike. The company employs 1.2 million workers in China.

"The dispute has already been settled after some negotiations involving the human resources and legal departments as well as the local government," the Taipei-based spokesman, Simon Tsing, said.
That's right, Apple and Foxconn reached an agreement in order to improve working conditions over there, just a month ago, but looks that didn't work well.

The deal was agreed almost two years after a series of worker suicides at Foxconn plants focused attention on conditions at Chinese factories and sparked criticism that Apple's products were made by Chinese workers subjected to mistreatment.

On Tuesday Apple reported that its fiscal second-quarter net income almost doubled after a jump in iPhone sales, exceeding financial market expectations.

Tsing declined to say how many employees were involved in the latest dispute. He said no one had jumped off any building.

the issue with this wasn't entirely wages related, foxcon are now saying that the large cities are too expensive for their factories and are moving them inland to smaller towns, in order to make more money, a number of the workers don't want to move and are protesting about that.

Of course they don't want to move, the smaller cities have nothing, less stuff, more dirt, no nightclubs, all that slave labour, and the litte bit of money they earn, and the few days a year they get to leave the work campus to enjoy life and there is nothing to do, no dancing, no stores, and it costs most of their wage to travel back to the larger city on a bus.

One thing still baffles me, why the hell are workers allowed to go on the roof?
Sound like the worlds shittiest health and safety rules.

Bring back the North American/European created high quality jobs back to their rightful workers.

Any other actions are contempt against North American/European workers. Nothing else is acceptable.
