It looks better than Microsoft Surface!

This Home-Built augmented reality table uses lasers, Kinect and the PlayStation Eye. Its dubbed 'Augmented Reality Table v0.1'

This one is a pretty cool AR Table. NUI Group forum member Bastian created what he calls the Augmented Reality Table v0.1 which uses a Microsoft's Kinect sensor, infrared lasers, a PlayStation Eye, and head tracking software to create a 3D augmented reality experience.

Basically the Kinect is being used to track the user's head and move the 3D environment in tandem, and there are four lasers at each corner that work with the PlayStation Eye camera to detect finger motion. The result is an AR block building program that looks for all the world like the hands-on future of Minecraft.
Check out how it looks by watching the video below, in which he demonstrates a simple 3D Brick-game! (Minecraft of the future?!)
