Resident Evil: Downfall in development for 3DS?

Another portable RE game...



Apparently, a new Resident Evil game for 3DS could be in the works, with events taking place between RE5 and RE6.

A post on Digital Spy stated that a new Resident Evil game for 3DS could be in the works. The post has since been removed, but apparently, the subtitle for that one was Degeneration-Damnation-Downfall 3D.

Looks like two of the subtitles referenced (Degeneration and Damnation) are for movies available on the game cartridge, while the last one Downfall, would be the title of the new Resident Evil game, with events taking place between RE5 and RE6.

Downfall would take place between Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6, and would reportedly feature Claire Redfield as she witnessed the downfall of humanity.

Another portable Resident Evil game releasing before RE6? Perhaps, it could also be launching on other mobile platforms. We will know for sure at this year E3.

Seems unlikely that we'll get the game before RE6 considering how early we heard of RE:R.
Would be nice to see another RE on the 3DS. Though unexpected and not really needed.

looking at the screens of RE mercs and RE:R i thought omg that look amazing, but found the jerky slow downs ruined the game, also noticed the game itself didnt look as clear and detailed as the screen shots, kinda got the impression that capcom took HD images and shrunk em down

id take you obviously didnt or else you would have noticed the jerky slow downs the game had which lately seems to be a problem on the 3ds, but may i add the actual game itself was so cr@p i mean mutated human fish demons WTF!!!!
