Nintendo won't release more Nintendo 3DS Aqua Blue

Nintendo will end the production of Aqua Blue 3DS model soon.

If you like the Nintendo 3DS in Aqua Blue color you'd better buy it now, as the official 3DS hardware page says that the production of this Aqua Blue color system will be ending shortly. As you can see in the picture above, it says in japanese "Scheduled to end production shortly".

Aqua Blue was one of the system's first two colors, and it was released on February 26 alongside the Cosmo Black model. Now you have other colors to choose from like the Flare Red, Misty Pink, Ice White and Cobalt Blue.

well when i'm in l.a. and a friends machine using "near" on 3g is telling him that someone in wales (uk) is close by i think it might be rarer than you think, remember its not even half as many sold as atari did of the original lynx

Pretty sure that's just for Japan. Afterall they have Cobalt Blue & Ice White. /in denial

Edit: Just realized, if this were a "master list" of the 3DSes for the world, it'd have the American Midnight Purple model in there.
That just about proves that the info is just for the Japanese models.

did you ever see that orange one they showed at e3 last year? if it wasnt for the fact that our current 3 units are all ambassador aged one of them would be getting traded the day (if ever) that bad boy launches.

oops, I was going to say "more brown than orange" but quickly glanced again and noticed it's actually more bronze looking.
