Exclamation 3DS System Update 4.1.0-8 is out

    Only minor changes, apparently...

Looks like Nintendo has released another FW update for the Nintendo 3DS. Apparently, only a few changes were made...

Nintendo has released a new 3DS System Update, 4.1.0-8U was rolled out -at least in the US- (probably coming soon to other regions).

Apparently, this is the only change:

    - System Update (In System Settings) can now be entered without a Parental Control Pin.
NO patch for MK7 yet! However, other "behind the scenes" additions/changes could have been made.

As for DS flashcarts, reports indicate Acekard 2i and R4i Gold Plus (from r4ids.com) are still working, so most likely others work as normal.

The Mario Kart 7 "patch", could be the next one.

Huh? No, the Mario Kart patch did come with this firmware update. You have to download it separately from the eShop though stupidly enough. (and no notification message was given about the patch.)

It's pretty funny when you have it installed it only patches the track for when you're playing online, and the online multiplayer selection icon on the main menu of the game has a "V1.1" stuck on it. LOL it's such a minute difference. You'd think a 1.1 would have new tracks and unlocks or something.

If anyone is curious, they patched it by actually making the water you jump into teleport you to where you should of been teleported back to.
I imagined they would extend the fence to block it off, but doesn't seem to be the case.
